Responsibilities of an SAP FICO Trainer

  • Design and deliver training programs on SAP FI and CO modules.
  • Train end users, key users, consultants, and support teams.
  • Explain SAP FICO concepts, business processes, and system functionality.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions.
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, user guides, exercises, and assessments.
  • Demonstrate processes such as:
    • General Ledger accounting
    • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Asset Accounting
    • Bank Accounting
    • Tax configuration and reporting
    • Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
    • Internal Orders
    • Product Costing and Profitability Analysis
    • Financial closing and reporting
  • Create practical business scenarios and exercises based on organizational requirements.
  • Assess trainees’ knowledge through quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations.
  • Provide individual coaching and resolve learners’ questions and doubts.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business process owners to ensure training accuracy.
  • Support user acceptance testing, process walkthroughs, and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Update training content based on SAP changes, business-process updates, and user feedback.
  • Maintain attendance records, training progress, evaluation results, and completion reports.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and recommend additional training or refresher sessions.
  • Support onboarding and provide post-training assistance to users.
  • Ensure training follows organizational policies, controls, and documentation standards.
  • Gather feedback and continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs
