Senior Account Executive, Construction

Open 57d

Description

About Perry Weather

Perry Weather helps general and specialty contractors reduce operational and safety risks caused by severe weather and heat. We work with leading GCs like Turner, DPR, Holder, and Kiewit to maintain compliance and high safety standards on projects where weather-related incidents create significant cost and liability.

We’re at the center of a major shift in construction. With OSHA moving toward heat-stress standards and contractors prioritizing modern safety practices, reliable weather intelligence is becoming a core operational requirement, not a nice to have. It’s a rare chance to join a company already trusted by leading GCs at the exact moment the market is accelerating.

About The Role

As a Senior Account Executive at Perry Weather, you’ll drive growth by helping customers understand their weather exposure and adopt tools that improve safety and operations. You’ll work closely with GTM, product, and marketing teams to uncover new opportunities, strengthen discovery, and help shape products that deliver real value in the field.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across general contractors, specialty trades, and mission-critical construction customers. You will have strong support from marketing

  • Develop territory plans that focus on high-risk, high-value projects such as data centers, manufacturing, hospitals, and large commercial builds

  • Visit job sites often to build rapport with supers, safety leaders, and project managers

  • Build strong relationships with regional leadership and safety directors at top construction firms

  • Manage a pipeline of new business while growing existing accounts

  • Represent Perry Weather at industry events, associations, and trade shows

  • Work with marketing on territory campaigns and with product teams to share feedback from the field

Requirements

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience selling into the construction industry (GCs, specialty trades, industrial, or mission-critical strongly preferred)

  • A track record of closing net-new business with complex operational buyers

  • Comfortable on job sites and are able to build rapport and trust

  • Willingness and ability to travel 40% of working time

  • Strong territory planning, pipeline management, and deal strategy

  • High personal accountability, strong communication skills, and confidence in leading customer conversations
