Senior Account Executive (Enterprise SaaS – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

About the Role


Vimachem is seeking a Senior Account Executive with strong experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions into pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing organizations.


This is a foundational role in the US market, combining strategic account development, enterprise sales execution, and close collaboration with leadership.

You will be responsible for building pipeline, managing complex sales cycles, and closing high-value deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, and biotech companies.


Typical sales cycles range from 6–12 months, with ARR deal sizes typically ranging from $50K–$250K+, and significant multi-site expansion potential.

What Will You Do as a Senior Account Executive?

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close, including proposal, negotiation, and procurement.

• Build and develop a pipeline of strategic pharmaceutical manufacturing accounts in the US.

• Establish relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders across production, quality, IT, and digital transformation teams.

• Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer business objectives.

• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes using a value-based selling approach.

• Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM.

• Collaborate closely with solution consultants, implementation teams, and leadership to drive deals forward.

• Communicate the value of Vimachem’s platform and help customers rethink legacy manufacturing systems and processes.

Qualifications


7+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS or software solutions into Life Sciences organizations.

• Experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO manufacturing environments.

• Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and achieving quota (100%+).

• Strong experience with MEDDIC / MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.

• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and procurement processes.

• Strong consultative selling approach and executive communication skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build pipeline and create opportunities from scratch.

• Experience selling MES, manufacturing software, or adjacent solutions (ERP, QMS, LIMS, etc.) is a strong plus.

• Willingness to travel as needed to support enterprise sales engagements.

Compensation


On-Target Earnings (OTE): $250,000 – $350,000 (50% base / 50% variable)

Base salary: $125,000 – $175,000 (depending on experience)

Performance-based bonus

Compensation is based on experience, expertise, and location.
