About the role
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Manager to lead and grow key accounts for Kidde’s residential fire portfolio across Northern Europe. This role is focused on delivering commercial results through effective account management, ownership of sales performance within assigned customers and territories, and the execution of commercial strategy. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, influence distributors and internal stakeholders, identify new growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts, and expand Kidde’s market presence across core and emerging sectors.
To be successful in this role;
Strong experience in retail or B2B sales is essential
Proven success selling or working with fire protection, security, IOT or safety products is highly regarded
Fluent in English and Polish – Norwegian and Dutch desirable
Formal qualifications in business, marketing, or technical discipline advantageous
Demonstrated influencing and problem-solving skills.
Ability to monitor progress and performance using Key Performance Indicators / Metrics
Proven track record of delivering sales results.
As the Senior Account Manager – Northern Europe, you'll be responsible for:
Commercial Execution & Growth
Deliver sales and revenue targets across your allocated territory.
Identify emerging opportunities, customer needs and competitive trends to support commercial decision-making.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting to provide visibility on performance and outlook.
Monitor competitive activity and market insights to inform pricing, product positioning and channel strategy.
Customer & Channel Development
Strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers and key channel partners to drive demand and availability.
Support brand awareness and product activation for the residential fire safety portfolio in the region.
Manage commercial engagement with customers including proposals, negotiations, onboarding and ongoing support.
Coordinate execution of channel strategies and segment initiatives to optimise coverage and sales performance.
Cross-Functional Influence
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure alignment on priorities.
Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing and promotional plans.
Act as the regional point of contact for field intelligence, customer feedback and competitor activity.
Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial terms and reporting standards.
Maintain strong understanding of products, solutions and customer requirements to support effective selling.
Use KPIs, data and insights to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular sales performance updates, pipeline reviews and regional activity reports.
