Senior Analytics Engineer on Kraken's (Payward) finance data team, building reliable financial data products, pipelines, dashboards, and automated reconciliations. Day to day: partnering with Finance to automate workflows, resolving reconciliation breaks, and working in SQL, Python, dbt, Spark, and Airflow.
You will build and maintain reliable financial data products, pipelines, models, and automated reconciliations. You will partner with Finance to translate workflows into automation, resolve data issues, develop dashboards, improve data timeliness, and evaluate AI-assisted solutions for production use.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance to translate workflows and business needs into data and automation solutions
- Build and maintain automated workflows for data preparation, reconciliations, reporting, and follow-ups
- Build dashboards and visualizations for performance analysis and issue investigation
- Resolve finance data issues and reconciliation breaks with Finance, Product, and Engineering
- Build scalable pipelines to collect, transform, and curate internal and external data
- Support the rollout of a trusted finance data lake with quality checks
- Improve data timeliness and enable near-real-time insights
- Evaluate and prototype AI-assisted automation solutions
