Your new role

Responsibilities
- Build and migrate workloads into the AWS New Zealand Region
- Deliver cloud and infrastructure solutions from approved architecture designs
- Implement networking, connectivity, security and platform components
- Support workload cutovers, testing, validation and production releases
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions
- Build platform services and environments for technology initiatives
- Troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure and connectivity issues
- Respond to operational incidents and platform support requirements
- Produce implementation documentation, support procedures and handover artefacts
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Cloud and Network Engineers, Product Owners and Delivery Leads
- Contribute to platform standardisation, reliability and continuous improvement
- Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience
- Proven enterprise infrastructure and platform engineering experience
- Experience delivering cloud migrations and platform transformation
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code capability
- Strong networking knowledge across routing, DNS, firewalls, VPN and hybrid connectivity
- Experience supporting production platforms and critical business services
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management capability
- Ability to balance project delivery with operational priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Senior-level AWS engineering contract
- Hands-on involvement in significant cloud migration activity
- Work across enterprise-scale infrastructure and platform environments
- Collaborate closely with experienced architecture and engineering teams
