Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust backend services using Python and the Django framework.


• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.


• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.


• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.


• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.


• Manage database schemas and interactions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).


• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.


• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.


• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.


• Proven expertise in Python and the Django web framework.


• Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.


• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.


• Experience with version control systems (Git).


• Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


• Experience with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is advantageous.
