Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

A staffing agency is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (full-time) on behalf of a client, to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for high-traffic applications. The stack centers on Python/Java/Go, REST/GraphQL, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Backend Engineer to work on a Full-Time basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems to support high-traffic applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system failures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar web service technologies.
- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and NoSQL systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
