Senior Business Analyst
Summary
Senior Business Analyst at a Malaysian cards/payments company, acting as the bridge between customers and the implementation team: gathering requirements, configuring the system, testing, producing documentation, and delivering training. Needs 3-7 years' experience in cards, banking or payments; Java and ISO8583 knowledge is a plus.
Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 9,000 per month
Overview and Purpose of Role:
• Bridging the gap between customer and implementation team
• Provide advice and consultation to customer to enhance their business processes
• Assist in managing the project progress
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in system requirement gathering
• Perform configurations based on user requirements
• Carry out testing based on test scenarios
• Produce quality documents related to projects, i.e. functional requirements document, technical specifications, training materials.
• Conduct training to internal team or to customers
• Ensure all deliverables are submitted on time
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science and related discipline is required
• Prior experience in Cards, Bank operations or Payments-related divisions
• Possess good verbal and writing skills in English
• Able to conduct Presentations / Walkthroughs with Customers
• Able to travel overseas.
• 3 to 7 years experienced.
Good to have:
• Experience in Java - J2SE, J2EE, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
• Knowledge in Mobile App Dev, Payments & Cards industry, ISO8583, NDC+
• Knowledge in database server such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc
