Performance Business Analyst (Custodial Change & FactSet)

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation undertaking a significant custodial change transformation program. This project involves replacing the underlying investment data infrastructure and remapping the data pipelines that feed critical investment, performance and operational systems.

We are seeking an experienced Performance Business Analyst with a proven background in custodian transitions and FactSet environments to support a complex investment operations transformation initiative.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Business Analyst role focused on understanding how investment operations processes translate into systems, data flows and downstream reporting platforms.

You will work closely with business SMEs, custodians, vendors and technology teams to validate, remap, reconcile and test investment data as it moves through the organisation's ecosystem.

The role will be heavily focused on:

• Investment data validation and analysis

• Data mapping and remapping activities

• Reconciliation of investment and performance data

• Vendor and custodian engagement

• Business process and data flow analysis

• Requirements gathering and documentation

• Testing support including SIT and UAT

• Stakeholder management across business and technology teams

Essential Experience

To be considered, candidates must have:

• Proven experience working on a custodian migration, custodian transition, custodial change project or custody platform implementation

• Hands-on FactSet experience

• Strong understanding of investment operations workflows and investment data flows

• Demonstrated Business Analysis experience within funds management, superannuation, asset management, custody or investment operations environments

• Experience conducting reconciliation, validation and data mapping activities

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills

• Experience working on large-scale transformation or implementation programs within financial services

• Availability to commence immediately or within a short notice period
