Senior Business Analyst
Summary
12+12 month contract Data Business Analyst role (via Recruitment Hive) for a Federal Government agency administering the NDIS: eliciting and documenting requirements, running stakeholder workshops, and producing data/process flows for enterprise data & analytics work. Key tech: Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau; Baseline security clearance required.
Salary: $1000 - $1050 Per Day Inc Super Ex GST
- 12 + 12 month contract - 37.5 Hours PW
- Canberra – ACT, Geelong – VIC, Sydney - NSW
- Baseline Security Clearance Required
Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Data Business Analyst
Duties of the Data Business Analyst:
- Capture and document functional and non-functional requirements including data, security, privacy, performance and compliance requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture and clarify requirements
- Define acceptance criteria and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and solution validation activities
- Produce high quality documentation, including data and process flows and conceptual solution designs
- Review technical solution designs to ensure alignment with requirements
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated expertise leading business and technical requirements elicitation, analysis and development within large-scale, complex programs, applying contemporary business analysis methodologies and modelling techniques (including BPMN, user stories and requirements traceability).
- Demonstrated strategic, analytical and problem-solving capability in addressing complex business challenges and delivering fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Knowledge of contemporary analytics ecosystems and technologies including Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience within enterprise data and analytics programs.
