Senior Business Analyst

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help shape and deliver high-quality software solutions across our Financials product. You'll work on solutions that support critical financial processes including Accounts Receivable, Billing, Receipting and Debtors, helping solve real customer problems and improve the way organisations manage their finances.

You'll play an important role in evolving our Financials product for an AI-powered world, identifying opportunities where automation, data and emerging technologies can simplify financial processes, improve customer experiences and support better decision-making.

As a Senior BA at TechnologyOne, you'll work closely with customers, Product, Design, Development and subject matter experts to understand business needs, define practical solutions and deliver valuable product outcomes. You'll contribute across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through design, development, testing, release and adoption.

What you'll be doing…

• Applying strong business analysis skills to understand complex business problems, processes, and customer needs.
• Working closely with customers, Consulting, Sales, Support, Product, and other stakeholders to gather insights and help shape product direction.
• Translating business needs into clear, well-defined requirements that can be understood and delivered by Product and Development teams.
• Collaborating with Product Design and Development to explore solutions, refine requirements, and deliver high-quality product enhancements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experiences, automation, and the use of data and emerging technologies.
• Conducting Business Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions are stable, intuitive, fit for purpose, and aligned with customer and business requirements.
• Supporting product releases through clear documentation, enablement materials, demonstrations, and communication.
• Participating in customer presentations, forums, workshops, and showcases to gather feedback and share product developments.

Your Talents…

• Relevant degree and/or extensive experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally within a software, technology, or product environment.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles, techniques, and methodologies, with the ability to analyse complex problems and translate them into clear requirements and solutions.
• Experience working across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through to delivery, testing, and release.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, and workshop skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A customer-focused mindset and the ability to understand different perspectives and balance competing requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Excellent organisation, time-management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work in a fast-paced product environment.
• Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS products, or complex business applications would be highly regarded.
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable, Billing, Receipting and Debtors processes highly desirable
