Summary
Senior Business Engineer at Worldline analyzes and designs end-to-end solutions for cashless payment transactions, bridging business needs with IT implementation in a collaborative, agile environment.
The opportunity
As a Business Engineer in an international team you will analyse E2E business and IT requirements for cashless payment transactions. You will consider various factors such as customer needs, standard product offering, product feature capabilities while also keeping complexity as low as possible and balance with time to market aspects and cost pressure. You will be required to analyse impact of changes and exchange with the delivery team representatives from different areas of the company to shape the best possible solution for our clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities
As the link between strategy and implementation, you translate requirements into practical solutions and lead the analysis and design processes to develop effective business capabilities:
- Analysis of customer and company needs
- Solution design for affected business applications, in cooperation with the development teams and architects
- Feasibility assessment and cost analysis
- Active steering of the implementation, jointly with the development teams
- Supporting the launch into production of new business features
- Acting as an interface function between product management, sales and development
- Leading small projects

- Several years of experience, preferably as a business analyst, business engineer or requirements engineer
- Experience in the financial sector especially in the payment industry is a big plus
- Dynamic personality with independent way of working
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
- Customer-oriented and communicative personality
- Very good level of English and German
- Good knowledge in Confluence and Jira is a plus
- Familiar with DevOps and agile methodoligies
- Experience in the API definition and in the payment industry is a “nice-to-have”
- Degree (FH/University) in IT or Engineering or a comparable qualification
