(Senior) Cloud Engineer

Our client is a leading Financial Institution. Due to business need, they are seeking a high calibre (Senior) Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work with vendor to design, implement, and maintain private cloud platform and PaaS in alignment with organizational security and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of cloud services.

• Automate the provisioning and configuration of IaaS and PaaS through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools.

• Automate application deployment using standard pipelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system resilience.
  

Requirements

• 5 years or more of experience in private cloud platform and PaaS within IT environment.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing workloads on major cloud platforms in hybrid or private cloud environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Linux, and cloud-native technologies.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in English and Chinese
