Senior Data Analyst

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to turn our operational, commercial and people data into decisions leaders can act on. You will own analysis end to end: framing the question, building the data model, and presenting the answer to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis projects from problem definition to recommendation, working directly with business, finance and operations leaders.

• Design, build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting that leadership uses to run the business.

• Write efficient SQL and build reliable data models; partner with data engineering on pipelines, data quality and governance.

• Run deep-dive analyses on growth, retention, cost, utilisation and workforce metrics, and quantify the impact of initiatives.

• Design and evaluate experiments, forecasts and segmentation models where they add value.

• Translate findings into clear stories, written summaries and presentations for non-technical audiences.

• Set analytics standards: metric definitions, documentation, code review and best practices.

• Mentor junior analysts and review their work.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics is mandatory.

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence and translating statistical theories.

• Advanced SQL, including window functions, query optimisation and working with large datasets.

• Strong experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis (pandas, NumPy or equivalent).

• Solid grounding in statistics: hypothesis testing, regression and A/B testing.

• Proven ability to present complex findings clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong business judgement and comfort working with ambiguous problems.
