Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our banking technology team. This role requires a highly technical, hands‑on engineer with deep expertise in CI/CD tools, infrastructure maintenance, and security patching. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and compliance of our DevOps ecosystem across both modern pipelines and traditional server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Tool Management : Administer, upgrade, and maintain DevOps CI/CD tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Vulnerability Patching : Perform regular security patching and upgrades on CI/CD tools, VMs, and servers to ensure compliance with banking security standards.
• Infrastructure Maintenance : Manage and maintain traditional Linux and Windows servers, databases, and networking components.
• System Administration : Configure and troubleshoot Apache, SSL certificates, and related middleware to support secure banking applications.
• Performance & Reliability : Monitor system health, optimize pipelines, and ensure high availability of DevOps environments.
• Collaboration & Support : Work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD workflows and resolve technical issues.

Prerequisites

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong hands‑on expertise.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory.
• Strong background in Linux/Windows administration, databases, networking, Apache, SSL.
• Proven experience in tool upgrades, vulnerability patching, and server maintenance.
• Familiarity with banking/financial services environments and compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
