Senior Devops Engineer

Work Mode: On-Site (5 Days a Week)About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor capable of designing, provisioning, managing, and optimizing production-grade cloud infrastructure. You should have practical experience building scalable AWS environments, managing EKS clusters, implementing autoscaling, and ensuring high availability, security, and reliability across production systems.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to independently drive DevOps initiatives while collaborating with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. AWS Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, provision, and manage scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Build and maintain production environments from scratch, including VPCs, subnets, IAM, EC2, load balancers, networking, and security configurations.
• Implement high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and cloud costs.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.

2. Kubernetes & Container Orchestration

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Amazon EKS clusters.
• Manage Docker containers, Kubernetes workloads, services, ingress, deployments, and networking.
• Implement and optimize Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA), Vertical Pod Autoscaler (VPA), and cluster autoscaling.
• Work with Karpenter or equivalent node-provisioning solutions to handle dynamic workloads.
• Use Helm charts and Kubernetes configuration management for application deployments.
• Troubleshoot pod failures, scheduling issues, resource constraints, networking problems, and cluster-level incidents.

3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform; experience with Pulumi is desirable.
• Develop reusable modules and manage infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Implement remote state management, state locking, versioning, and environment-specific configurations.
