Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering tasks including detailed design and front end engineering design (FEED) for oil and gas onshore and offshore projects.
• Work on brown field and asset services type projects and contracts.
• System design up to 33kV.
• Develop and review single line diagrams, metering and protection diagrams.
• Prepare specifications, data sheets, material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor drawing/document reviews.
• Develop layouts and perform sizing calculations.
• Prepare lists and schedules such as cable schedules and distribution board (DB) schedules.
• Conduct power system studies.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Make site visits for data collection activities.
• Take on lead electrical engineer responsibilities for small size projects.
• Experience in feasibility study (FS), concept options (CO), pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed engineering design.

Requirements

• Full-time bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated experience in similar roles within the oil and gas industry, specifically onshore and offshore projects.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
