Senior Engineer - QA/QC

POSITION PURPOSE

The QA/QC Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and

equipment meet project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations through

rigorous inspection, testing, and documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inspection & Testing

Conduct visual inspections and functional tests of electrical systems (e.g.,

cabling, panels, earthing).

2. Documentation Review

Review and approve Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and

Material Approval Requests (MAR).

3. Non-Conformance Management

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when installations fail to meet standards

and verify corrective actions.

4. Standard Compliance

Ensure all site activities align with IEEE, IEC, and local electrical codes.

• Complete inspection and testing records for electrical systems.

• Reviewed and approved Method Statements, ITPs, and MARs.

• Timely-issued and verified-closed NCRs.

• Consistent compliance with IEEE/IEC and local electrical codes.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY)

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QC for construction or industrial

projects.

• Valid certifications in Electrical Inspection or QA/QC.

• Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures and safety protocols.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must possess proven experience conducting electrical QC

inspections and testing, with authority to identify and reject non-

compliant installations/materials.
