Senior Full-Stack Developer

B2B SaaS | Remote with 1 day a month on-site in Liverpool | £70-80k + EMI Equity

Are you a senior full-stack developer with strong GCP expertise who enjoys taking ownership and building scalable products?

I’m partnered with a growing B2B SaaS company developing technology that improves how temporary workforces and operations are managed across large-scale events.

They are now hiring their first permanent in-house developer. Working closely with the CTO, you’ll help transition development from an outsourced model, shape the technical direction of the platform and support the growth of the future engineering team.

The role

• Architect and build scalable applications across the full stack
• Develop frontend applications with Next.js and backend microservices with Node.js
• Take ownership of the company’s GCP architecture and infrastructure
• Build and maintain APIs using GraphQL and Apollo Federation
• Improve platform performance, security, reliability and cloud costs
• Establish engineering processes, standards and architectural patterns
• Mentor future developers as the internal engineering team grows

About you

• 5+ years’ commercial full-stack development experience
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js and GraphQL skills
• Deep hands‑on experience building cloud‑native applications on GCP
• Experience with services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery and Cloud SQL
• Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes and microservice architectures
• Experience working within a startup or fast‑growth environment
• Able to operate autonomously and take projects from concept through to production
• Strong communication and pragmatic problem‑solving skills
