Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack web applications using Python (Django/Flask) for the backend and React for the frontend.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define feature requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
- Implement automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge within the team.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, and modern frontend development tools.
- Solid understanding of database design, management, and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
