Senior Interior Designer
Summary
Designs residential and commercial interiors, creating space plans and selecting materials/furnishings while coordinating with clients and contractors using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine project requirements
- Prepare space planning and design proposals, sketches and project schedules
- Coordinate tasks and ensure their completion within set timelines to achieve successful project delivery
- Select materials, décor, furniture, lighting, and finishes within specified budgets
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and external consultants on site
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant interior design experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max (or equivalent)
- Understanding of basic principles of space planning and knowledge of furniture system, detail drawing and finishes
- Able to conceptualize and present design proposals to clients
- Good command of spoken English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team or independently
