Senior Interior Designer- Hospitality
As a Senior Interior Designer, your responsibilities will include leading the design and
execution of interior spaces that meet both the functional and aesthetic needs
of clients. Key tasks involve project management, collaborating with clients,
developing designs, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with
regulations, and staying updated on design trends.
To be
successful in this role, you must have strong, relevant experience in Hospitality, Luxury
Residential and Commercial markets within the UAE with excellent
creative thinking & management skills and be able to create designs based
on conversations and a brief from clients. You should be able to demonstrate
completed projects within Dubai, have a strong supplier network and confidence
in presenting and managing third parties, contractors and Client expectations.
You should be able to manage a team, communicate instructions clearly and be
able to work independently on delivering a project from start to finish.
· Independently
manage your own projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with
client expectations and timely delivery of presentations, drawings and
contractual obligations.
· Communicate
the company’s brand message through design, presentations, and professional
conduct.
· Effectively
communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to understand design needs,
preferences, and objectives, translating them into actionable project
requirements.
· Negotiate
pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions
while maintaining high quality standards, including civil and fit out tenders.
· Oversee
project supervision both onsite and remotely, maintaining detailed written and
verbal communication with the team, clients and contractors.
· Foster
strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
for business development.
· Prepare presentations and drawings (3D, 2D,
mood boards, mock-ups and renderings) to ensure they meet the client
expectations and vision.
· Responsibility
of the materials library involves organization, maintenance and utilizing it as
a critical resource for design projects. This includes ensuring that current
samples are stocked and that selected materials complement the overall design
narrative.
· FF&E & Procurement; identifying
appropriate furniture, fixtures, materials, and equipment that align with the
design concept, project goals, and client preferences. Developing comprehensive
specifications and schedules to provide clear guidance to the procurement team
and contractors, while overseeing the logistical coordination.
· Maintain a high level of organization
and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
within your team.
· If
required, represent the company at industry events, speaking engagements, and through
social media platforms.
· Managing the ID department deliverables, 3D
team & Interns, providing advice and training & performance management,
always motivating them to improve and grow within the company.
· Stay updated on industry trends to ensure
the studio remains relevant and competitive.
