Senior IT Officer/Assistant Manager (Application)

Responsibilities:

• Perform system administration and operation

• Monitor system health, implement checking on daily basis

• Track and address daily production problems and user requests efficiently

• Assist in system testing, UAT support, production deployment and project implementation

• Improve the automation and resilience of production environment to improve operational efficiency and stability

• Assist in the deployment of software patches, upgrades, and new releases within the production environment

• Provide phone or remote support in non-office hour in case required

• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by department head

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

• 2 years or above trading system support experience

• Good planning and task management skills, analytical skills and demonstrate strong risk awareness

• Familiar with script languages (Windows, Linux shell, SQL)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills is preferred

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
