Senior IT Officer

Salary: $30,000 – $35,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking a driven and accomplished Senior IT Officer to oversee the smooth and efficient running of our IT infrastructure, digital platforms, and system administration. In this full-time position based in Kowloon Bay, you will play a vital role in keeping our business operations uninterrupted, supporting our core web and mobile fan club platforms, and ensuring our technology solutions continue to drive our growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations, updates, and maintenance for the fan club website & mobile app, as well as corporate websites. Manage CRM, live streaming setups, and media platform account activities.

• Provide end-user helpdesk support across local, warehouse and overseas offices.

• Manage VMware virtualized environment, mail server, email security gateway, server room (UPS/cooling), switches, Wi-Fi APs, firewalls, user/site-to-site VPNs, and CCTV systems.

• Implement security updates, patches, and firewalls.

• Perform daily automated VM/application backup maintenance and conduct regular Disaster Recovery (DR) restore testing.

• Manage IT inventory tracking, hardware and software subscription procurement, endpoint protection, and domain/SSL certificate renewals.

• Travel with the event and management team for on-site IT support when necessary.

• Perform regular IT health checks at executive premises and work flexible/outside hours when required.

• Manage any ad hoc tasks as assigned.

About you

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant IT experience in systems administration, network infrastructure, and user support.

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud platform, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows/Linux servers, MDaemon, VMware, Veeam Backup, IP networking, DNS, VPN, APs, and Firewalls.

• Proven experience supporting multi-site infrastructure, website/app operations, CRM, live streaming, media platforms, and IT inventory management and procurement.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attentive, responsible, can-do attitude and customer-oriented approach.

• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-departmental teams and vendors.

• Willingness to travel and work outside regular hours/weekends when required; immediate availability is a strong advantage.
