Our client is a European-based company specializing in cloud infrastructure, supporting customers globally.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to help ensure reliable service and an excellent customer experience across cloud infrastructure services. You will work alongside a team of experienced engineers to monitor systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate escalations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and professional technical support to customers through live chat and email.

  • Monitor infrastructure and services to help maintain system availability and service continuity.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across servers and infrastructure environments.

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams when required.

  • Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and developers to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.

  • Assist with identifying recurring issues and contribute to improvements in operational processes and service reliability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or systems administration.

  • Hands-on experience working with Linux server environments.

  • Good understanding of server hardware components, including RAM, CPU, power supply units, motherboards, and storage devices, as well as their configurations.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to work on rotating shifts as required.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Strong understanding of Linux system fundamentals, including: Boot processes, filesystems, storage configuration (e.g. RAID, fstab)

  • Experience diagnosing and resolving network configuration issues.

  • Additional experience with Windows server environments is a plus.
