Responsibilities
- Architect and build resilient applications that satisfy both business goals and technical standards
- Review code submitted by peers to ensure uniform quality throughout the project
- Team up with various departments to convert business objectives into workable technical approaches
- Detect and fix intricate problems spanning the full application lifecycle
- Weigh in on important architectural and design choices
- Coach and support less experienced developers as they build their skills
- Enhance application efficiency and preserve dependable system performance
- Write organized, readable, and thoroughly documented code
- Engage in sprint planning sessions and offer input on task estimation
- Stay current with emerging tools and shifting best practices across the field
Requirements
- At least 3 years of applicable experience in software engineering
- Working experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment stages
- Solid grasp of SQL for managing and querying databases
- Firm understanding of Microservice Architecture Style and its use within distributed environments
- Direct experience using Spring Boot to develop enterprise-grade applications
- Skilled in both designing and integrating REST APIs
- Strong foundation in Java Core concepts and object-oriented design principles
- Practical experience working with Java 8 and its key features
- Exposure to ReactJS for front-end development and connecting with backend systems
- Experience crafting unit tests to support code quality and long-term maintainability
- Understanding of Java NoSQL databases for managing non-relational data
- Fundamental knowledge of AI concepts and how they can be applied within software development
- Confident English skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
