Senior Java Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Java-based systems for a financial client, focusing on real-time data processing with Kafka and ensuring robust testing and integration.
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Work Model: Hybrid (1-2 days per month in the Warsaw office)
Start Date: ASAP / up to 30 days notice period
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software enhancements.
- Prepare and maintain development environments.
- Create and modify databases.
- Design and execute unit and integration tests.
- Ensure solutions comply with system architecture and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare releases, configurations, and deployment documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong Java development skills.
- Experience with high-volume, real-time data processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Understanding of software testing and system integration.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Java Swing (Full Stack profile).
