Senior Java Developer

Work Setup: Hybrid (2x/week in Makati or BGC, Taguig)

Shift: Flexible Mid-Shift (Core Hours: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Java Developer looking to build high-impact enterprise applications? We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to drive complex backend feature development, contribute to system design, and deliver resilient cloud-native solutions. Work alongside collaborative teams while enjoying a hybrid schedule and flexible mid-shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Development: Write clean, maintainable code and design scalable backend services and features.

• Hands-on Engineering: Build robust microservices using modern Java (Java 17 preferred) and the Spring Framework.

• Security & Quality Assurance: Implement secure coding standards, write comprehensive JUnit and integration tests, and adhere to DevOps practices.

• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver continuous product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Relevant Experience: 7+ years of hands‑on software development experience focusing on enterprise backend systems.

• Core Backend Stack: Solid proficiency in Java (Java 8 or 17), Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relational/NoSQL databases.

• Cloud & Microservices: Practical experience building and deploying cloud-native microservices.

• Testing & Tools: Strong knowledge of unit testing (JUnit), Git version control, and application security basics.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and test automation.

• Hands‑on exposure to front-end development technologies.
