Senior Java Developer

Location:Punggol (Onsite)
Duration:12-month renewable contract

Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications usingJava/J2EEtechnologies.
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including business requirement analysis (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), technical design, development, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), deployment, go-live planning, and production support.
Design and supportFIX Protocolinterfaces for order routing, execution, and trade processing.
Develop and maintain message-driven integrations usingApache, JBoss, and MQtechnologies.
Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
Work closely with business users, project managers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment documentation while ensuring compliance with security and architectural standards.

Strong hands-on experience inJava/J2EEapplication development.
Experience withApache,JBoss, and message queue (MQ) technologies.
Strong scripting skills usingShell, Perl, or Python.
Solid experience working inUnix/Linuxenvironments.
Good database development experience withOracleandSybase(MS SQL is an advantage).
Exposure to or experience with theFIX Protocoland financial/trading systems is preferred.
Strong understanding of the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, technical specification writing, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a production environment.
Experience in vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and working with cross-functional teams.
