As a Senior Lawyer, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów/ Poznań.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Provide comprehensive legal support to Nexi Group companies operating in Poland, particularly in the areas of payment services, e-commerce solutions, and technology projects supporting regulated activities.
- Deliver ongoing legal advice to corporate bodies, senior management, and business, product, sales, operations, IT, HR, and finance teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, technology, partnership, product, licensing, and intra-group agreements.
- Actively support product teams in the design, implementation, and development of products and services offered by Nexi Group companies, including identifying legal and regulatory risks at the solution design stage.
- Prepare and maintain legal, regulatory, and corporate documentation in both Polish and English, including bilingual (PL/EN) documentation.
- Support corporate law matters, corporate governance initiatives, and the servicing of company governing bodies.
- Participate in regulatory and implementation projects related to payment services, fintech, e-commerce, data protection, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to reorganization, transformation, and M&A projects.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on Nexi Group’s operations in Poland.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions and legal awareness initiatives for business units.

Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Law.
- Qualified Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) or Attorney-at-Law (Adwokat).
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in corporate legal advisory services, gained either in a law firm or an in-house legal department, preferably within the payment services sector.
- Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and business law, particularly in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial, technology, partnership, and intra-group agreements.
- Experience advising regulated entities, especially within the financial, payments, or technology sectors.
- Proven experience providing day-to-day legal support to business functions, including product, sales, operations, IT, HR, and finance teams.
- Ability to identify legal and regulatory risks and deliver practical, business-oriented recommendations.
- Experience working on regulatory, implementation, transformation, or reorganization projects.
- Excellent command of English, including legal English, enabling independent drafting, reviewing, and negotiating documentation, as well as effective collaboration in an international environment.
- Experience working with bilingual Polish-English (PL/EN) documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong sense of ownership, and capability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to partnering with the business.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with M&A transactions, reorganization projects, or international projects.
- Experience collaborating with international stakeholders, external law firms, and group functions within a multinational organization.
