As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial technology provider, supporting critical application migrations and payment systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance across complex Linux environments, contributing to innovative infrastructure transformation projects.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Linux server environments (RedHat, Oracle Linux) supporting payment and issuer processing applications.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Rundeck and Ansible.
  • Diagnose, monitor, and enhance system performance, ensuring optimal uptime and security.
  • Collaborate closely with Application & Middleware teams for BAU tasks, migration planning, and environment setup.
  • Resolve technical challenges rapidly and document procedures effectively using Confluence.
  • Work alongside project managers to build, test, and execute data center migration activities.
  • Implement cryptography solutions (PKI, PGP) and manage IP network configurations.
  • Support incident resolution, ensuring business-critical systems remain resilient and reliable.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in payment or high-transaction environments.
  • Strong skills in Linux (RedHat, Oracle Linux) and application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Rundeck.
  • Knowledge of cryptography (PKI, PGP) and IP network management.
  • Bash or Python scripting proficiency.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex infrastructure knowledge.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent Polish and English language skills, both written and spoken.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Current RHCE certification.
