Senior Managing Analyst, Services Business Development F/TOverviewThe employee will sell Mastercard Services to Regional Banks in the United States. Mastercard Services is a highly complex, comprehensive suite of value added financial products comprised of the following offerings: Advisory & Transformation; Data, Analytics & Decisioning; Consumer Engagement & Loyalty; Cybersecurity, Fraud & Identity; Fraud & Dispute Solutions; Open Finance & Identity Enablement; and Managed Services.
Role.
• Drive consultative sales efforts by developing tailored value propositions, preparing executive level pitch materials, and delivering compelling presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Own pipeline management to ensure consistent revenue growth and accurate forecasting. Structure, negotiate, and finalize client contracts, ensuring alignment on scope, pricing, and outcomes.
• Oversee the successful execution of sold engagements, maintaining accountability for timelines, client satisfaction and overall performance.
• Act as a key liaison between client and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and issue resolution throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Lead and manage the full business development and engagement lifecycle, from sales opportunity identification through delivery execution.
• Lead sales calls and new client development across all Services Business for an assigned set of accounts.
• Deliver against sales targets for existing accounts and/or contribute to Mastercard Worldwide deal bids.
• Capture senior and mid-level clients’ implicit business needs in addition to articulated requests and identify most critical aspects of the problem.
• Translate objectives into key hypotheses and structure work for large/complex projects or ill-defined problems.
• Contribute to formal and informal pitches, from “storyboarding” through face-to-face presentation.
• Create succinct, persuasive written materials tailored to the “level” of the audience.
• Have oversight over project delivery.
• Manage complete capture of assignment knowledge and drive to ensure it is available firm-wide (knowledge management).
• Contribute as a thought leader to the development of intellectual capital, point of views, articles, and blogs.
• Leverage deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Services capabilities and how they fit together to offer new innovative solution.
About You
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Management, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Financial Analyst, Investment Banking Analyst, Engineering Analyst, Sales Analyst; Associate Management Consultant, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least two (2) years with each of the following: Payments & Financial Services; Sales & Business Development; Deal Structuring, Negotiation & Closing; Analytical & Quantitative Skills – Excel, PowerPoint; Project & Deal Execution; Financial Acumen.
• Rate of pay: $247,146.00 - $274,000.00 / Year.
• Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
• 20% of domestic travel may occur.
