Job Description
We are looking for a professional to join our Credit and Risk Modeling Team—an environment where data, technology, and business work together to transform strategic decisions.

We use advanced statistical techniques and Machine Learning, exploring data from across the organization to build credit risk models customized to the needs of each business. These models are essential tools for our clients to optimize and maximize their decisions.

Key responsibilities
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Develop credit risk models using statistical techniques and Machine Learning solutions, with a focus on Python;
- Manipulate, explore, and analyze large databases using Python;
- Conduct ad hoc studies and statistical analyses to support decision-making;
- Identify improvements and propose solutions;
- Define the success metrics that need to be monitored and conduct experiments to validate impact;
- Interpret analytical results, evaluating their coherence, relevance, and impact on the business;
- Translate complex analyses and technical concepts into clear and objective insights, suitable for different audiences, including clients from various segments and internal areas;
- Act as a technical reference, supporting the development of other professionals.
Qualifications

Strong command of statistical concepts;

Data manipulation and SQL;

Solid experience in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and the development of statistical and Machine Learning models;

Knowledge of Cloud (AWS), code versioning (git/bitbucket), and programming best practices (PEP-8);

An analytical, questioning, and curious mindset, with a continuous interest in learning, technical evolution, and identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement;

Ability to propose solutions aligned with business strategies;

Good communication skills, with ease in interacting with internal and external clients;

A proactive profile, focused on results, quality, and delivering value;

A collaborative profile with constant exchanges and contributions to the team.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in GenAI;

Experience with variable creation;

Experience with modeling for different response variables beyond default (e.g., behavioral indicators, relationships with financial institutions, betting, longevity, propensity, and other risk signals or customer value).
