Senior Network Engineer
We're seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading technology services team delivering complex infrastructure projects for enterprise customers across Australia.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Perth, offering the chance to work across a diverse range of customer environments, deploying and supporting modern networking and infrastructure solutions. You will need to bring hands-on mine site experience to this role.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of customer solutions, working closely with solution architects, project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The role is highly project-focused and will see you working on a variety of customer engagements, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver network and infrastructure solutions to agreed timelines and standards
Gather requirements and work with solution architects on solution design
Implement and maintain customer project outcomes
Produce and maintain technical documentation, site schematics and change records
Provide project status updates and stakeholder communication
Act as an escalation point for implementation and design issues
Identify opportunities for service improvement within customer environments
Maintain deep technical expertise across relevant technology domains
About You
You'll bring:
Strong routing and switching expertise
Hands-on mine-site experience, including switch commissioning
Experience planning and performing switch upgrade testing
Demonstrated project design, deployment and implementation experience
Ability to produce technical designs, site documentation and change-control documents
Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in customer-facing environments and have a proven track record delivering complex technical projects from inception through to completion.
