Senior Next.js Full Stack Developer

Build production software with TypeScript and React at Digital XA, supporting payroll, scheduling, billing, and event operations across Western Canada.

As a senior engineer, you will shape a large working platform used by XA Security staff, clients, and payroll teams. Work spans Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, integrations, and internal operations tools. You will guide technical direction, review code, and deliver verified releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build features across Next.js, server routes, and Supabase/Postgres
• Protect correctness across payroll, billing, tax, and scheduling rules
• Design migrations and maintain row-level security
• Integrate payment, accounting, payroll, SMS, and email providers
• Improve testing, observability, and rollback planning

Requirements:

• Five-plus years of professional software development experience
• Two-plus years running production web applications
• Strong TypeScript, React, SQL, and relational data modelling
• Experience with Next.js, Postgres, migrations, and access control
• Experience handling APIs, retries, webhooks, and partial failures
