As a senior engineer, you will shape a large working platform used by XA Security staff, clients, and payroll teams. Work spans Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, integrations, and internal operations tools. You will guide technical direction, review code, and deliver verified releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build features across Next.js, server routes, and Supabase/Postgres
- Protect correctness across payroll, billing, tax, and scheduling rules
- Design migrations and maintain row-level security
- Integrate payment, accounting, payroll, SMS, and email providers
- Improve testing, observability, and rollback planning
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of professional software development experience
- Two-plus years running production web applications
- Strong TypeScript, React, SQL, and relational data modelling
- Experience with Next.js, Postgres, migrations, and access control
- Experience handling APIs, retries, webhooks, and partial failures
