Summary
Whitehall Resources is hiring a Senior Platform/Backend Engineer for a key client in Cambridge, UK — hybrid with 2 onsite days per week and inside IR35. Day to day the work spans authentication systems, advanced PostgreSQL design, REST/GraphQL APIs, modular architecture, and GitLab-based CI/CD.
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Senior Platform / Backend Engineer to work for a key client based in Cambridge
Please note this role falls inside IR35 and will be onsite 2 days a week in Cambridge
- Authentication Systems (oauth, OIDC, EntraID OBO, JWT/JWKS, Basic Auth etc.)
- Advanced Database Design (PostgreSQL, migrations, common packages & extensions)
- API Patterns & integrations (REST, GraphQL)
- Software Architecture Patterns (Modular Monolith etc.)
- VCS & CICD (GitLab)
