Job Overview:

The Senior Principal IT Pillar Specialist (ISM) is tasked with solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. They must proactively identify and solve the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. The ISM plays a pivotal role on the project and key roles & responsibilities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the entire lifecycle of information management processes for projects, from initial estimate to final completion and handover
  • Review Invitations to Bid (ITB/ITT) from clients for Information Management requirements and assess risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders in preparing the Information Management / Information & Systems Management Execution Plan for proposals and projects
  • Prepare Information Management (IM) estimates covering hardware, resources, and licenses, and control spending within allocated budgets
  • Prepare, review, and issue proposal write-ups and IM documents
  • Detect and manage project scope changes
  • Coordinate project-specific infrastructure setup for construction sites, client resident teams, and joint venture partners in cooperation with Project IT
  • Specify and coordinate processes and tools for data collection, validation, consolidation, and handover to the client
  • Act as the single point of contact for project management and clients on Information Management matters
  • Translate project-specific information requirements into efficient system configurations and user instructions in coordination with execution tool administrators
  • Prepare functional specifications and manage the development and implementation of project-specific applications and/or interfaces
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices, ensuring they are embedded within the organization
  • Initiate and conduct Information Management / Information Systems Management (IM/ISM) audits and peer reviews
  • Train and coach personnel for assignments and ongoing development
  • Provide input to audits and peer reviews, and undertake additional project audits as required

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Finance, or Management, Required Minimum
  • 10+ years of experience in IT supporting engineering applications with 3+ years as a Project Information Manager
  • Extensive functional knowledge in the Payroll industry and leadership expertise
  • Extensive Project Management experience
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader
  • Have wide experience with technical tools such as ERP, BI, etc.
  • Maintain key competencies associated with the IT function
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Must be a finance IT SME in process & technical knowledge of Timekeeping systems, General Accounting, Job Cost Accounting, Sub-ledgers, General Ledger, and Close Cycles (month, quarter year)
  • Knowledge of Tax, Treasury, Audit, Financial Reporting, Project Accounting, Billing & Revenue is a plus
