About Liquidnitro Games

Liquidnitro Games is a game development company built to create, launch, and scale ambitious games for a global audience.

Founded by industry veterans with deep experience across free-to-play, live services, and large-scale game production agnostic of platforms, we bring together product thinking, design craft, engineering depth, art execution, data, and live operations under one roof.

We build games from the ground up, take new ideas from 0 to 1, and work with select partners to strengthen, scale, and operate high-quality game experiences.

Our teams combine creative ownership with production discipline, helping projects move from early prototypes to validated products, and from launch to long-term growth.

At Liquidnitro, we are building the next generation of game teams, products, and tools from India for the global games industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build, launch and scale an ambitious new free-to-play mobile game.

This is a hands-on product leadership role for someone who understands what makes games fun, how players engage with systems over time and how to translate great gameplay into a sustainable product.

You will work closely with game designers, engineers, artists, producers, analysts and leadership to shape the product from development through launch and live operations.

We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between creative discussions and product analytics, challenge assumptions, make thoughtful trade-offs and take ownership of measurable player and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

1. Own Product Strategy and Player Experience

• Define and drive the product vision, goals, roadmap and success metrics in collaboration with game leadership.

• Translate the creative direction into a compelling player experience with strong core gameplay, progression, engagement and retention systems.

• Understand player motivations, behaviors and friction points across the entire player journey.

• Establish product priorities and make decisions that balance player experience, development constraints and commercial opportunities.

• Identify opportunities to differentiate the game within the competitive F2P mobile market.

2. Drive Development From 0 to 1

• Partner with design, engineering, art and production to take the game through development, testing, launch and iteration.

• Define and prioritize features based on player impact, product goals and development feasibility.

• Establish clear acceptance criteria and measurable success outcomes for major features and systems.

• Drive playtesting, qualitative feedback and data-informed iteration to validate product hypotheses.

• Make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions to deliver a focused, high-quality game.

• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve product ambiguities and ensure alignment around priorities.

3. Build Retention, Progression and Monetization Systems

• Partner with game design to shape progression, rewards, economies, content systems and long-term engagement loops.

• Understand how gameplay, difficulty, pacing and rewards influence player motivation and retention.

• Develop thoughtful F2P monetization strategies that complement the core player experience.

• Evaluate virtual economies, IAP systems and engagement mechanics to establish sustainable long-term product health.

• Identify and address issues such as progression friction, economy imbalance and retention drop-offs.

4. Establish Product Analytics and Experimentation

• Define and track KPIs across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, conversion and monetization.

• Partner with analytics and engineering to ensure appropriate telemetry, dashboards and reporting are in place.

• Build hypotheses, interpret quantitative and qualitative insights and translate findings into actionable product decisions.

• Design and evaluate experiments to improve player experience and business performance.

• Analyze player cohorts, funnels, progression, content consumption and feature performance.

• Build a strong understanding of the relationship between game systems and product metrics.

5. Lead Launch Readiness and Product Growth

• Define product readiness criteria and success metrics for internal testing, soft launch and global launch.

• Partner with publishing, marketing, user acquisition and live operations teams on launch strategy.

• Identify product risks and performance gaps early, and drive corrective action.

• Support the transition from development into ongoing live operations.

• Develop post-launch priorities around player engagement, content, feature improvements and sustainable growth.

6. Drive Cross-Functional Product Leadership

• Be an accountable product decision-maker who brings clarity to complex and ambiguous situations.

• Communicate product strategy, priorities, risks and performance to leadership and stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with producers while retaining ownership of product outcomes, player experience and feature priorities.

• Balance creative ambition, player needs, technical feasibility and business performance.

• Foster a culture of player empathy, experimentation, accountability and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• 6–10 years of experience in product management or equivalent product ownership roles within the games industry.

• Demonstrated experience working on free-to-play mobile games, ideally across development, launch and live operations.

• Experience shipping at least one game or owning substantial product features and systems through launch.

• Strong understanding of mobile F2P design, including core loops, progression, economies, retention, engagement and monetization.

• Ability to use product analytics, player feedback and competitive insights to make decisions.

• Strong product judgment and the ability to identify what matters most for players and business outcomes.

• Experience collaborating with game designers, engineers, producers, artists and analysts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, structured thinking and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to operate independently and take ownership in a fast-moving game development environment.

Good to Have

• Experience building a game from prototype or pre-production through launch.

• Experience with action, survival, shooter, RPG or progression-heavy games.

• Experience developing cooperative, social or multiplayer game systems.

• Experience with live operations, content strategy, experimentation and soft-launch optimization.

• Hands-on familiarity with SQL, analytics platforms or product experimentation tools.

• Experience working with licensed IPs or established entertainment franchises.

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed development and publishing teams.

What Success Looks Like

• Product clarity: A well-defined roadmap, clear product hypotheses, priorities and measurable success criteria.

• Strong player experience: Core gameplay, progression and engagement systems that are validated through testing and iteration.

• Product readiness: A game that meets agreed quality, performance and product KPI thresholds through development and launch.

• Data-informed execution: Product decisions consistently backed by player insights, experimentation and sound judgment.

• Cross-functional ownership: Teams aligned on priorities, trade-offs and expected outcomes.

• Sustainable growth: A foundation for long-term retention, monetization and live operations.

Why Join Liquidnitro?

This is an opportunity to shape a new game from its early stages and have meaningful ownership over its product direction and outcomes.

You will work with experienced game creators, collaborate across disciplines and influence decisions that directly shape what players experience.

At Liquidnitro, we value people who are curious, hands-on, willing to challenge assumptions and excited about building great games. We offer the opportunity to work on ambitious projects with global audiences, while helping shape a growing game development organization.
