Senior Project Manager

Summary

Provision of an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic enterprise technology and security enablement project within the Digital Security function. The consultant will operate within the project and portfolio management framework and be responsible for establishing, mobilising, and managing a complex cross-functional project involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and technology teams across a global environment.

Business trips: Yes from time to time business travels to Sweden

Main Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain project governance, planning, reporting, and delivery controls.

  • Lead project delivery across multiple workstreams and globally distributed teams.

  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and actions.

  • Manage project mobilisation and ongoing agile delivery activities.

  • Coordinate business, technology, operational teams, third-party suppliers, and delivery partners.

  • Provide regular status reporting and executive-level updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

  • Manage project finances, forecasts, resource planning, and budget tracking.

  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, decision-making, escalation management, and issue resolution.

  • Support organisational change, operational readiness, service transition, and project handover.

  • Ensure project outcomes remain aligned with agreed business objectives and programme priorities.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in senior project or project management roles.

• Demonstrable experience leading large-scale enterprise technology transformation project.

• Experience operating within complex, global, matrix-managed organisations.

• Proven ability to take ownership of existing projects and rapidly establish delivery control and governance.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior business and technology leadership.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with complex interdependencies.

• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Nice to Have:

• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, AgilePM, or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of program and project governance methodologies.

• Experience with Agile and Hybrid delivery approaches.

• Knowledge of organisational change and transition management practices.
