Senior Telecoms Project Manager

Manages telecoms projects, including network rollouts and Sender ID Registry updates, by coordinating stakeholders, producing specs, and guiding technical teams.

Introduction & Summary
Our client is looking for a Telecoms Project Manager to ensure effective communication and execution of projects related to telecommunications networks. The successful candidate will bring relevant technical qualifications, a solid understanding of Voice and SMS services, as well as significant experience in the telecommunications industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to scope new functional requirements for the Sender ID Registry.

  • Produce technical specifications and user documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with the external database provider.

  • Guide the development team through implementation as a technical authority.

  • Manage the rollout including testing and documentation.

  • Support users in familiarizing themselves with new functionalities.

  • Develop data management strategies for the Metrics database.

  • Devising processes for new Nuisance Communications mitigations.

  • Propose potential new interventions against future threats.

Key Requirements
All candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant technical qualifications.

  • Working familiarity with telecommunications networks.

  • Telecommunications industry background.

  • Proven ability to contribute to technical meetings and forums.

  • Experience in preparing technical specifications for teams and end-users.

  • Understanding of international technical standards in electronic communications.

  • Experience managing Microsoft infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services.

  • Competence in handling confidential information.

Other Details
For this role the client would like this consultant to be onsite 60-80% of the time in their Dublin city office.
