Senior Project Manager for IT Service Management Projects

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Remedy. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of project management experience, particularly in highly regulated environments, with a proven ability to lead complex technology transformation projects through to successful implementation.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional technology transformation initiatives from initiation to implementation.

• Drive project delivery across various stakeholder groups, including application owners and operational teams.

• Establish and maintain governance aligned with organisational standards.

• Manage project scope, milestones, risks, and resource plans for successful execution.

• Coordinate technical remediation and operational improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate decision-making in a complex matrix organization.

• Provide high-quality reporting to senior management and governance forums.

• Support solutions that enhance operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing large-scale IT or technology transformation projects.

• Proven success in delivering complex initiatives involving multiple technologies and stakeholders.

• Strong background in project governance, risk management, and financial control.

• Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments and service management.

• Experience in regulated environments, preferably in financial services.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to engage senior leaders.

• Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DORA or similar regulatory compliance initiatives.

• Familiarity with ITSM environments and service modeling.

• Knowledge of application dependency mapping or CMDB-related projects.

• Experience in operational resilience and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and BMC Discovery.

• PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile project management certifications.
