Senior Project Manager

We are partnering with a financial services business currently undertaking a significant operational and technological transformation. As part of their continued expansion and regulatory evolution, they are seeking a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead several strategic streams across data compliance and mortgage originations.

The Role
This high-visibility, delivery-focused role manages a dynamic portfolio within a busy enterprise pipeline (30+ active initiatives).

You will lead workstreams spanning core foundational data initiatives—including Consumer Data Right (CDR) frameworks, Comprehensive Credit Reporting, and data disposition/retention—alongside a broader, deeper transformation of their Mortgage Originations program.

Key Responsibilities

• Program & Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex regulatory, data, and lending initiatives from inception through to operational readiness.
• Scope & Pipeline Management: Break down complex business and technical requirements across a substantial backlog of 35+ initiatives, establishing clear delivery roadmaps and milestones.
• Data & Regulatory Compliance: Drive foundational programs around CDR, credit reporting integrations, and enterprise-wide data disposition and archive rules.
• Mortgage Originations Enhancement: Deliver deeper, end-to-end enhancements to the lending platform, improving broker/customer onboarding, automated decisioning, and settlement workflows.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with C-suite executives, Risk & Compliance heads, Enterprise Architects, and third-party vendors.
• Governance & Financial Control: Maintain rigorous governance, project accounting, risk/issue management, and resource allocation.

What We Are Looking For

• Financial Services PM Experience: Proven track record as a Senior PM delivering complex technical and operational projects within banking, specialist lending, or financial services.
• Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of foundational data/compliance projects (specifically CDR, credit reporting, or data disposition/retention).
• Lending Knowledge: Broad exposure to the Lending domain is ideal.
• Quick-Thinking Delivery Lead: Ability to quickly get under the bonnet of complex products, technical architecture, and regulatory frameworks.

Desirable Experience (Bonus Points)

• Experience in Mortgage Originations platforms or Asset Finance systems would be advantageous.
• Direct background in core banking modernisation or major data governance implementations.
