Responsibilities:

Manage sourcing and purchasing activities to support prototype builds, New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot production, and mass manufacturing.
Execute purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, equipment, and services.
Coordinate with Engineering, NPI, Planning, Production, and Quality teams to meet project timelines and production schedules.
Source new suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve cost and delivery targets.
Support NPI activities, including BOM validation, cost estimation, supplier selection, and fast-turn procurement.
Monitor supplier performance, expedite critical orders, and resolve supply issues to minimize production risks.
Ensure technical specifications, engineering drawings, and material requirements are accurately communicated to suppliers.
Maintain purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ERP processes.
Identify alternative suppliers and materials to improve supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), prototype builds, or project procurement is highly preferred.
Strong supplier negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills.
Experience purchasing mechanical parts, electrical components, tooling, consumables, or production equipment.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good English communication skills; Chinese language capability is an advantage.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
