Senior Python Developer (FastAPI / Microservices)

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and scale modern backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and Microservices architecture.
This role is ideal for engineers who have worked on production-grade applications, understand distributed systems, and can take ownership of backend services from design through deployment.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build and maintain Microservices-based applications
- Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Minimum 6 years of professional Python development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL databases
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows
- Strong understanding of software design principles and backend architecture
- Experience working with Linux environments
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures
- Experience building highly scalable production systems
- Fintech, Payments, Banking, Trading, or Crypto domain experience is a strong plus
