The Senior QA Engineer is part of a high performing delivery team who is responsible for building a business critical platform, an application that enables and streamlines Aon’s entire placement process in one system.

What the day will look like

• Testing Planning and Execution - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications
• Regressions – Execute manual and automated regressions to ensure successful monthly releases
• Automation - Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
• Defect Management – Identify, document, triage and track defects and work with delivery team to resolve issues
• Collaboration – Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, technical business analyst to ensure high-quality product releases
• Continuous Improvement – participate in agile activities and retrospectives to identify improvements to test processes and methodologies
• Quality Metrics – Assist in the collection of defect related data and generation of QA quality metrics reports
• Mentorship – Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and team members
• Documentation – Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, results and defect reports
