Position Overview
The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting assigned premises, assets, and personnel. The individual is expected to detect and deter potential threats, perform access control, conduct security screening, attend to enquiries from stakeholders, patrol and guard premises, as well as managing incidents and emergencies.
The Role
Perform Access Security Functions
- Attend to enquiries from visitors
- Manage key presses
- Conduct security screening of visitors, properties, and vehicles
- Authorise and facilitate access to premises
Detect Security Threats
- Regulate crowd and traffic
- Conduct security patrols
- Guard premises
- Handle suspicious persons/vehicles
- Identify risks and report irregularities
- Operate security and safety systems
- Operate security command centre
Manage Incidents
- Assist authorities in law enforcement
- Provide quick response to incidents and emergencies
- Assist in evacuation in the event of emergencies
Talent Profile
- Minimum Secondary qualifications
- Possess a valid Senior Security Officer Security License issued by the Police Regulatory Department
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
