Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Applications

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and support software used in complex engineering, measurement, and data-intensive applications. The role combines hands-on development, troubleshooting, system integration, and continuous software improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for engineering, measurement, and data-intensive applications.

• Translate customer and system requirements into practical software solutions.

• Enhance existing software to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Investigate and resolve issues reported by internal teams and customers.

• Support software integration, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

• Contribute to software design, code reviews, and development of engineering-related algorithms or features.

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.

• Experience developing software for technical, scientific, engineering, or data-intensive applications.

• Exposure to C++, AI/ML, local LLMs, on-premises AI, numerical computing, or scientific computing is advantageous.

• Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
