Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Apps (C++, Cross‑Platform)

Topcon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and maintain cross‑platform field survey applications that interface with GNSS receivers and field devices. You will work with a global team to deliver software for data collection and positioning workflows across Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS.

You should have 3+ years of C++ development experience, strong Qt/QML skills, and a solid foundation in OO design. Hybrid work and a competitive salary with a bonus are offered.

Design and maintain cross‑platform field survey applications that connect with GNSS receivers and field devices. Build reliable software modules for data collection, device communication, and positioning workflows. Integrate Topcon and third‑party equipment including GNSS receivers and robotic devices. Analyze requirements, estimate development effort and contribute to planning and delivery decisions. Support the full software lifecycle: architecture, coding, debugging, testing, release support and continuous improvement. Troubleshoot complex software and hardware‑integration issues and translate field feedback into robust solutions. 3+ years of professional C++ software development experience. Hands-on experience with Qt and/or QML for cross‑platform development. Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
